    The Combat Control Foundation (CCF) today announced its Board of Directors has appointed John Glowacki as Chief Executive Officer. This appointment is effective immediately.

    “We are fortunate to have someone of John’s caliber and experience step up to lead CCF,” said Mike Lamonica, President of the Board. “We are at a critical moment and need experienced professional leadership to take us to a high level of sustainable growth and support for our Community. John is a visionary with a proven track record of results. He is a strong communicator who is member focused with deep leadership capabilities and broad experience.”

    Glowacki said, “I am humbled, honored and excited to lead the Combat Control Foundation. It’s a privilege to build and lead the Foundation and support this community which I belong to and is in my thoughts every day of my life.”

    • Undersecretary-level Chief Operating Officer of a federal department in the Government of Canada
    • Corporate VP and Chief Technology Officer of a Fortune 200 multinational company

    • Former Combat Controller for most of his 21 years of service in the US Air Force

    Speaking on behalf of the board, Lamonica said, “John Glowacki has the right vision and abilities to help define our strategy for going forward and deliver solid execution and financial performance and support to the Combat Control Community.”

    The Combat Control Foundation (CCF) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization supporting the Community of Combat Controllers and their families relating to combat and significant events as well as to promote the heritage and history of Combat Control.
