    THE VENUE

TownPlace Suites by Marriott room rate is $109.00 per night plus tax (same as last year). Be sure to mention Combat Control when making your reservation for this rate.

Marriott has reserved 20 rooms for us, 10 Double Queen and 10 King Studio.  Reservations must be received by April 24, 2022. (We have coordinated additional rooms if we need them).

The Covid 19 situation is still a concern in the area, Franklin and all of TN is pretty much wide open. You may still need a mask at a very few places or your choice if you want to wear one.

    PROPOSED SCHEDULE

Thursday, May 12  A few people are coming early and the hotel is providing the same price. Dinner with friends -- there are numerous good places to eat with several within walking distance.

Friday, 13 May   The following activity is being coordinated and subject to some changes.

    • Golf in the a.m. for those who want to play. Last couple years, we have only had one or two people who were interested. We have not set up a course or any t-times, and recommend individuals make their own arrangements. If we get a strong response, we will attempt to set something up.
    • 1200hrs – Transportation provided for everyone to go to the Veterans Center at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU); it is approximately 30 miles South of Nashville in Murfreesboro, TN (off I-24) for those who want to drive
    • 1300hrs – Tour of Veterans Center at MTSU with LTG(ret) Keith Huber
    • Mid-afternoon lunch at Mission BBQ in Murfreesboro
    • Informal gathering for evening meal and drinks (if you are still hungry)
      Saturday, 14 May
        • Golf in the a.m. (Same as above)
        • 1800hrs  Evening Dinner at The Brewhouse South (next door to the Hotel)

(Will provide additional information as we work the details.)

Sunday, 15 May  Breakfast, goodbyes, depart for home

        CONTACTS

Please notify us at the earliest if you plan to attend and if you will want to play golf. I will attempt to get players in touch with each other.

As usual, we will be doing a few auctions and other fund raising activities for future reunions. Jeff Slayton is helping get this together. CCA will have someone bringing up some of the country store on Friday. May have a few newcomers this year.

Questions. Email or give me a call and leave a message. This is a broad base plan that may be changed any number of times before arrival.

          Hope to see you there.
